Vile Racial Stereotyping of Black Women by Hope Not Hate

This image (click to enlarge) is the cover of the March issue of (spit) Hope Not Hate magazine. These guardians of the anti racist insanity should surely be setting an example to all.
Have a look at the image though, find the single token black that they decided to include.
Of all the people on the street, the token black could have been pushing a pushchair, enjoying dinner in the "All Nations Cafe", or leaning out of the window to clean it (on which note, hideous example, health and safety is an important issue HNH, shame on you).
They had plenty of people to pick from to be buying fruit. But no, they pick the big hipped black woman to have a couple bunches of bananas dangled in her face!
That's a hate crime if you throw a banana at people of that skin colour, yet the good old 'anti racists' at Hope Not Hate think it is acceptable to have a portly (aside from the stick arms which all the characters on the cover seem to share) black lady (with very stereotypical features) squeezing a green fruit with a couple bunches of bananas dangled in front of her like bait to a fish.
There's no other way of looking at it. There are loads of people in the image, it isn't an accident they picked that spot for the single black.
We've obvious Muslims smiling and loving all, we've whites (both good and 'racist', as well as that man in the Citizen Smith beret removing graffiti) everywhere, yet HNH chose to portray the black woman as portly, and with bananas dangling in front of her. She even looks as if she is staring at the bananas as if they are some sacred totem and smiling.
They'd be screaming about hate if we photoshopped up such an obviously stereotypical and racially prejudiced image for an article, let alone used it as the cover of a magazine.
Think about it. The only black on the cover is a stereotypical older negress who is squeezing at fruit whilst bunches of bananas wave before her nose. One is shocked that these hatemongers didn't make those fruit she's pawing at either watermelons or coconuts. Perhaps they are anaemic mangoes.
If that isn't a hideous racist image rich in prejudice then heaven alone knows what is.
We should be sickened, and complain about the obvious racial prejudice. It is truly shocking that a so called anti-racist publication could come up with such a vile racist caricature.
They have decided they can tell the rest of us what is racist. Either they have no clue about their own brand of racism themselves, or they deliberately allowed their magazine to be used to promote an horrendous racial stereotype of the black woman as portly, attracted to fruit, and with bananas always close at hand.
I am appalled, I demand the thought police investigate immediately. On behalf of all blacks I cry racism, this blatantly racist and stereotypical portrayal of a black woman should not be tolerated in society today.
*Hat tip to Nostradamus - this was the image I had lurking that your comment reminded me of. Thank you.
