The Moral Code
-
Written by Richard Newman
One of the least talked about subjects in politics today is the nature of morality, and the acceptance of moral inversion. Where what was right is now wrong, and vice versa, and promotion of an immoral agenda seems to be the norm.
The history of our nation is such that we attained our greatest period when we happened to be our most moral. I speak of course about the Victorian age, which gave us a moral code based on our Christian heritage. The period prior to the Victorian age was known not just as a period of enlightenment, but as a period of debauchery, greed and corrupt practice. We all know about the poverty of Victorian England, which continued well into the 20th Century. But little is known of the sad state of pre-Victorian Britain.
The period was marked by almost continual warfare from 1756 onwards, culminating in what is arguably the First World War (1795-1815) and the final ascendancy of Britain over Napoleon.
Two aspects of the social and political history of this period include:
The Hellfire Club was one of the most notorious clubs associated with the period, as a place where people of note would go to engage in immoral acts.
The Rotten Borough was one of the most notorious political machinations made famous by Black Adder, they remained an important means of political power for the gentry until the Reform Act of 1832.
This all ended of course with the age of the Victorians.
The age of consent was raised to 13 in 1875 and raised again to 16 in 1885. Buggery had been outlawed since 1533, but this was reinforced by Parliamentary acts in 1861 and 1885.
Homosexuality was decriminalised in 1967, with the age of consent set at 21. The Conservative MP Edwina Currie unsuccessfully campaigned to have the age for buggery lowered to 16 in 1994. In 2000 the consent age for buggery was reduced to 16 by the House of Commons, but to be fair the House of Lords was bypassed.
Since 1967 abortion has been legal in the UK in a bill sponsored by David Steel MP, and further supported in 1990. Prior to this abortion had been illegal in the UK, with Pro life being best supported in 1861.
So the preservation of life and rules on sexual conduct were at their strongest at the height of the era of Queen Victoria, and their slide into decline can be measured from the legislation passed in 1967 onwards.
The decline of Britain's moral standards mirrors the decline of Britain itself.
The people decide the morality of the nation, and are influenced by many external factors. The most important in the Victorian era being the conduct of those above them, and their religion. That decline is seen today in the moral standards of our religious leaders, who actively promote homosexuality, and Islam.
The moral decline of our leaders is now at such a level of abuse, that we do not have enough space to list the indiscretions of those who presume to claim to be better than the layman.
The marital indiscretions of the Prince of Wales and the corruption and greed of our members of Parliament are the two that come forward as a sign of the immoral nature of the so called great and good.
Which is a serious problem, for if people who look to nationalism for their salvation, then they must be secure in the knowledge that the organisation of which they belong is a monument to their own moral code, in essence an extension of themselves writ large.
They will fight both politically, and militarily for a moral ideal.
They will follow a man or woman of morality and virtuous intent.
They cry out for a moral code to follow and ensure that their lives have meaning.
Nationalism itself shouts out for a moral code as important as the Ten Commandments or the Latin Rules.
If you do not believe me then look at two important factors of today:
The decline and destruction of recent nationalist movements can be measured by the perception of their moral compass in the public consciousness. If you are not better than those you seek to replace then how can you be worthy to replace them.
The decline of Christianity can be measured in the same way. In a church run by liberals where buggery is the norm, and the old Christian values which have persisted for thousands of years are continually undermined, the wonder is how it has lasted so long.
The moral code of Islam is a choice taken by many white British people, not only because it contains the five pillars, but because it gives them a moral code.
The spread of Islam and its practices which are so alien to all nationalists and in our eyes immoral will continue until we provide a viable alternative.
We are not alone in this predicament, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the World, with only those religions and societies with a strong moral code standing against it.
