Let them hate as long as they fear was the favourite saying of the Emperor Caligula according to Lucius Accius, and the maxim for both Imperial Roman and Imperial British rule. In fact both empires would have fallen had it not been for the fear that gripped their many enemies, at the mention of their name.
I was at a dinner party last night, and it is of course bad taste to mention religion or politics in polite company, the topic was delayed until the after dinner coffee, and the discussion turned to the state of law and order in the nation. I found out that in the home town of one of the other guests a four year old had been mown down and injured by an immigrant driver, who had fled the scene, in a scenario which is becoming far too common.
People with the liberal disease believe that the British Empire was evil, Marxist inspired teachers even promote it in schools as they persecute and betray white children to their God of multiculturalism.
Yet the modern liberal forgets that without Oderint dum metuant both Empires would not have lasted long. To fully understand the maxim you need only see history, where true to the works of Darwin, only the fittest survive. The Roman Empire destroyed its enemies, in some cases to extinction, but if they did not their people would have suffered the same fate. Attila the Hun (The Scourge of God) and enemy of Rome killed millions and raped whole populations. In this manner he was able to give the Russian people their Slavic look!
The British tied sepoys to cannon and blew them apart, but only after they had raped and killed European women and children. The British Empire would not have existed if we had not slaughtered our enemies and destroyed them utterly. It must be argued now that the British people, just like their Roman counterparts are paying the price of weakness and liberal mindedness.
If we were the same people who forged an empire (which we are not), our nation would simply take Abu Qatada to Woolwich Arsenal and fire him out of a cannon. Those prone to the disease would protest. Yet both Israel and the United States practice Oderint dum metuant with impunity. The State of Israel is feared and respected because of its ability to destroy its enemies, most notably in its "Wrath of God" programme. The United States continue to follow this maxim in their foreign policy, and despite the liberal home view have an ability to kill women and children throughout the world.
If the British had maintained a foreign policy in line with that of Israel and the USA in Ulster the IRA would have lasted six months, and peace would have been imposed.
If the Boers of South Africa had nuked their enemies and slaughtered Mandela and his white liberal friends they would not be suffering the slow death now.
Sean Penn, the failed American actor and one time paramour of Madonna is the latest enemy of Britain to have a go about the Falklands. Penn, of Jewish ancestry, and Italian and Irish decent has much to hate the British for. The persecution of the Jews by the British in Palestine, the defeat of the Italians by the British, and the Irish potato famine.
The number of our enemies is legion, from the white students who despise their own people to Trevor Philips and his hatred of white people and Christianity. They act like this because they are allowed to do so, and because we are not the great people we once were.
It is not the fault of Sean Penn, or Abu Qatada, or the thousands who are now pouring into Britain to rape and kill with impunity while supping from the tit of its welfare state. It is the fault of liberal Britain, and those who stand idle while their nation burns.
There is another maxim which is equally valid "The Hun is always either at your throat or at your feet" If Churchill is to be believed, you can place all the enemies of our people in the role of the much maligned Hun.
As a Nationalist. I prefer Britain's enemies at our feet.
